2006/2007 Knowledge Transfer Session in Burns Lake

A knowledge transfer session will be held in Burns Lake at the Rod and Gun Club on Friday, June 8th. The session will present results from innovative projects undertaken during the 2006/2007 fiscal year

Project consultants and program partners will be making presentations that fall within the following core program areas:

  1. Sustainable Forest Management Planning
  2. Forest productivity
  3. Ecosystem-based management.

Please see the agenda here for a listing of topics and presenters. Watch for agenda updates over the coming weeks. Project summaries and other information will be available at the event and a poster session is also planned.

To get to the Rod and Gun Club turn north off Highway 16 onto Babine Lake Road (across from the Alaska Way Restaurant). Travel north approximately 3.5 kilometres just past the end of the pavement and the hall is the second turnoff on the right. Lunch and coffee breaks will be catered at no charge to participants and we expect to adjourn by 4:30 pm .
