Second Annual Knowledge Transfer Session Being Held May 23rd in Granisle

The Morice & Lakes Innovative Forest Practices Agreement will be holding a knowledge transfer session in Granisle on Friday, May 23rd, 2003. The single-day session will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Granisle Lakeside Lodge.

The lodge is located in the middle of the Village of Granisle overlooking Babine Lake. Lunch and breaks will be catered at no charge to participants.

Sharing technical results on innovative forest management projects is a key goal of the Morice & Lakes IFPA. Consultants and program managers will be making several presentations on important projects completed over the past year. These presentations fall into the following core program areas:

  1. Community involvement and adaptive management
  2. Forest productivity
  3. Ecosystem management.
