Third Annual Knowledge Transfer Session in Burns Lake

June 3 , 2004

The Morice & Lakes Innovative Forest Practices Agreement will be holding a knowledge transfer session in Burns Lake on Friday, June 18th, 2004. The single-day session will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Tweedsmuir Rod and Gun Hall.

The hall is located on Babine Lake Road 3.5 kilometres north of Burns Lake. Lunch and breaks will be catered at no charge to participants.

Sharing technical results on innovative forest management projects is a key goal of the Morice & Lakes IFPA. Consultants and program managers will be making several presentations on important projects completed over the past year. These presentations fall into the following core program areas:

  1. Sustainable forest management planning
  2. Forest productivity
  3. Ecosystem-based management.
